The co- and tri-extrusion process relies on the heat and pressure within the extrusion hot die to bond dissimilar plastics, creating a unique composite profile. Based in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and serving manufacturing partners in Minneapolis, MN, and Chicago, IL, the process can combine up to three different plastic types in a single extrusion. Different durometers, colors, and even plastic types can take advantage of co-extrusion technology.
