This position requires regular time in manufacturing areas, which may involve standing, walking, and exposure to machinery and production environments. Eye, ear, and footwear protection are required in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Support product design changes and ensure manufacturability.
- Process Improvement
- Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and process mapping to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and optimize throughput.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance, making data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration and Support
- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical issues.
- Provide engineering support during production trials, scale-ups, and new product launches.
- Assist in training operators and maintenance staff on new processes or equipment.
- Quality and Compliance
- Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in root cause analyses and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (certification preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
