Welding Fabricator

We are looking for a motivated, experienced welder to join our company as a Welder
Fabricator. In this role, you will construct and manufacture metal parts and machinery,
taking particular care to produce clean, polished welds. The Welder Fabricator will
follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for
fabricating parts used in the manufacturing process. This individual will also be
responsible for the quality of their output, and must be able to perform simple tests to
ensure weld quality and tolerance.

Requirements of the job:

1. Reads, assembles, and welds based on blueprints
2. Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded
3. Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
4. Inspects final products for quality assurance
5. Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area
6. Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

1. At least two years of welding experience required, preferably in a manufacturing
environment.
2. Training and experience in TIG welding and MIG welding.
3. Experience with aluminum and stainless metals.
4. Thorough understand of machines and tools used in welding.
5. Experience with machinery (mill, lathe, CNC, etc.) is preferred
6. Ability to read weld symbols and follow blueprints.
7. Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.
8. Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
9. Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
